Founder & Principal
Hello my name is Ruth.
When I am not at RJS Ballet you can find me walking my dog, decorating my house, gardening or knitting.

Sue works in our office, she has worked with us since RJS Ballet opened on the 8th of March 2014.
Did you know that Sue is also Ruth's mum?
When Sue is not at ballet you can find her sewing, knitting and baking. She sometimes creates costumes for the dancers of RJS Ballet.
Alice started helping during classes in 2021. Alice is has also started developing her choreographic skills and has created some new dances for the contemporary classes. When Alice is not at RJS you can fine her at university studying sports and exercise therapy, being a rainbow leader or working at a hotel.
Mia is a dedicated member of RJS Ballet and also a fantastic role model to the younger students. Mia has grown in confidence and is always very positive and polite. When Mia is not at RJS you can find her playing computer games, drawing and helping her mum cook delicious food. Mia would like to be a nurse when she grows up.
Esme is a dedicated member of RJS Ballet and also a fantastic role model to the younger students. Esme has been a student at RJS Ballet since she was 3 years old! She is always prepared and full of energy and enthusiasm. When Esme is not at RJS you can find her playing the piano, at guides, cartwheeling and studying. Esme would like to be a professional dancer when she grows up.
John keeps track of finance at RJS Ballet.
He is also Ruth's dad. John enjoys horse racing, playing cards, bowling, bird watching and gardening. You wont see him at the studio but he works hard behind the scenes.
